Disclaimer
Effective Date: August 4, 2026
This Disclaimer governs your use of happyfur.care (the "Site"), operated by HappyFur. It forms part of our Terms and Conditions.
Please read it before purchasing or using any product.
1. Not Veterinary Advice
The content on this Site is provided for general informational purposes only and does not constitute veterinary advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
We are a retailer of pet food and nutritional supplement products. We are not veterinarians, veterinary technicians, or animal nutritionists, and nothing on this Site should be interpreted as professional guidance regarding the health of any individual animal.
No veterinarian-client-patient relationship is created by your use of the Site, by your purchase of a product, or by any correspondence with us.
Always seek the advice of a licensed veterinarian with any question regarding your animal's health, diet, or medical condition. Never disregard professional veterinary advice, or delay seeking it, because of something you read on this Site.
2. FDA Statement
These statements have not been evaluated by the United States Food and Drug Administration.
The products sold on this Site are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
Nutritional supplements for animals are not subject to the same pre-market approval process as veterinary pharmaceuticals. Statements describing a product's role in supporting normal structure or function are not claims that the product treats, mitigates, or prevents any disease or condition.
If your animal has a diagnosed medical condition, it requires veterinary care. A nutritional supplement is not a substitute for veterinary treatment, and delaying appropriate treatment can cause serious harm.
3. Individual Results Vary
No result is guaranteed.
Every animal is different. Response to any food or supplement depends on species, breed, age, weight, activity level, existing diet, genetics, and overall health. A product that suits one animal may have no observable effect on another.
Any customer review, testimonial, or before-and-after description on the Site reflects that individual's experience with their own animal. It is not a promise, prediction, or representation of the results you should expect, and it is not evidence of typical results.
4. Consult Your Veterinarian First
Speak with your veterinarian before introducing any new food or supplement, and particularly before doing so if your animal:
Is pregnant, nursing, or intended for breeding
Is a puppy, kitten, or otherwise still growing
Is elderly or has reduced organ function
Is currently receiving any medication, whether prescription or over-the-counter
Has a diagnosed condition, including kidney, liver, cardiac, endocrine, or gastrointestinal disease
Has a history of food allergies, sensitivities, or dietary intolerance
Is scheduled for surgery or any procedure involving anesthesia
Is currently unwell, or has recently shown a change in appetite, weight, or behavior
Some supplement ingredients interact with prescription medications. Your veterinarian is the only person able to assess that in the context of your animal's full history.
5. Safe Use
You are responsible for using our products safely, including:
Reading the manufacturer's label in full before first use. The physical label supplied with the product is authoritative and prevails over anything shown on the Site
Following the stated feeding guidance and dosage. More is not better, and some nutrients are harmful in excess
Introducing new foods gradually, ordinarily over 7 to 10 days, to reduce the risk of digestive upset
Giving products only to the species for which they are intended. Certain ingredients that are safe for dogs are toxic to cats, and the reverse
Storing products as directed, and observing "best by" and expiration dates
Keeping products out of the reach of children and of animals for which they are not intended
Supervising your animal when introducing anything new
Discontinue use immediately and consult a veterinarian if your animal shows any adverse reaction, including vomiting, diarrhea, lethargy, itching, swelling, or a change in behavior.
6. Product Information and Third-Party Manufacturers
We do not manufacture the products we sell. They are produced by third-party manufacturers and supplied to us through United States distributors.
Product descriptions, ingredient lists, guaranteed analyses, images, and nutritional information are supplied by the manufacturer or distributor. We take reasonable care in reproducing that information, but we cannot independently verify it and we do not warrant its accuracy or completeness.
Manufacturers may reformulate, relabel, or repackage products without notice to us. Where the Site and the physical product label differ, the label controls.
If your animal has a known allergy or sensitivity, read the physical label on every package before feeding, including on repeat purchases.
7. External Links
The Site may link to third-party websites, studies, articles, or resources. These are provided for convenience and general interest only.
We do not endorse, control, or accept responsibility for the content or accuracy of any third-party resource, and a link does not imply that we agree with its conclusions or that they apply to your animal.
8. No Guarantee of Site Availability or Accuracy
We work to keep the Site accurate and available, but we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or current.
We may correct errors, change product information, and update or remove content at any time without notice.
9. Reviews and Testimonials
Customer reviews on the Site reflect the genuine opinions of the individuals who wrote them. They are not verified by us as statements of fact, and they do not constitute veterinary advice.
We do not offer, and will not accept, compensation in exchange for a positive review. Where any material connection exists between a reviewer and HappyFur, that connection is disclosed alongside the review, consistent with FTC guidance.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, HAPPYFUR LLC accepts no liability for any loss, injury, illness, or damage arising from the use or misuse of any product purchased through this Site, or from reliance on any information published on it.
Your use of the Site and of our products is at your own risk. Our full limitation of liability is set out in Section 14 of our Terms and Conditions.
Nothing in this Disclaimer excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Some states do not permit certain exclusions, so parts of this Disclaimer may not apply to you.
11. California Proposition 65
Certain products may bear a warning under California's Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986 (Proposition 65). Where a Proposition 65 warning applies to a product, it is displayed on the product page and on the product label.
12. Emergency Information
If your animal is showing signs of illness or distress, contact your veterinarian or an emergency animal hospital immediately. Do not wait to hear from us.
